CURRENT AFFAIRS FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2018- CLASSES I & II

1.) The World Habitat Day was observed across the world on 1st October. 2.)Nation Paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat on his 149th birth anniversary on 2nd October. 3.)The Indian Air Force (IAF) celebrated 86th Air Force Day on 8th October 2018. 4.) India concluded its campaign at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Jakarta, Indonesia with 72 medals that included 15 gold, 24 silver and 33 bronze medals. India was placed ninth in the overall tally. 5.) Vijayadashami, also called Dusshera was celebrated in India this year on 19th October. 6.) Indian Captain Virat Kohli becomes the first Indian batsman to score three consecutive centuries in ODI. 7.) The supreme court allowed the use of safer firecrackers from 8 pm to 10 pm on Diwali. Firecrackers will be allowed between 11:55 pm to 12:30 am on Christmas and New Year.
