1.) Indian Grandmaster Abhijeet Gupta won the Cannes International Open Chess trophy.
2.) India's Saurabh Chaudhary smashes new World record to win Gold in 10m Air Pistol event at the ongoing ISSF World Cup 2019 at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi.
3.) Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the prestigious Seoul Peace Prize- 2018 for his contribution to international cooperation and fostering global economic growth.
4.) Kerala Police inducts robots in its Police Headquarters with Sub Inspector rank. The KP- Bot will be deployed to perform duties of the front office of the police headquarters. Kerala has become the first police department in the country to use a robot for police work.
5.) Flight Lieutenant Hina Jaiswal becomes the first woman flight engineer after she completed the six- month IAF's engineering branch course at 112 Helicopter Unit, Air Force Station Yelahanka.
6.) Sushil Chandra, Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) Chairman, appointed as Election Commissioner by President Ram Nath Kovind.
7.) Indian historian Sanjay Subrahmanyam has won prestigious Dan David Prize of Israel for the year 2019.
8.) Former Madhya Pradesh Director General of Police Rishi Kumar Shukla, a 1983- batch officer, has been appointed the new CBI Director.
9.) India defeated New zealand by 35 runs in the fifth and final One Day International at the Westpac stadium to clinch the five- match series 4-1.
10) Indian batsman Rohit Sharma becomes the highest run- getter in T20 internationals. The 31 year old went past New Zealand's Martin Guptill during the second T20I against New Zealand at the Eden Park in Auckland to go to the top of the list.

12.) Chris Gayle became the first batsman to hit 500 sixes in international cricket en route to his 162 off 97 balls at St. George's.
13.) The Indian Air Force conducted airstrikes at the biggest terror camp of Jaish - e- Mohammed (JeM) in Balakot at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan in the wee hours on 26th February and killed over 300 terrorists.
14.) Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated to the nation National War Memorial near India Gate in New Delhi.
15.) The 91st Academy Awards concluded in Los Angeles, Alfonso Cuaron won Best Director for Roma.
16.) Saudi Arabia appointed its first female ambassador to the United States.
17.) Ranji Trophy champions Vidarbha won the Irani Cup against Rest of  India at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Jamtha, Nagpur.
18.) India's first semi- high-speed train Vande Bharat Express flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the New Delhi railway station.
19.) Abu Dhabi has included Hindi as the third official language used in its courts, alongside Arabic and English, as part of a move designed to improve access to justice.
20.) World Cancer Day is being observed on 4th February.
