1.) The world's biggest mobile factory launched in Noida near Delhi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Korean President Moon Jae. The new Samsung factory will have the capacity to fabricate 120 million smartphones per year.
2.) India's Hima Das became the first Indian athlete to win gold in a world championship across all age groups.
3.) France wins the FIFA World Cup 2018.
4.) France wins by 4-2 after defeating Croatia in Moscow in FIFA World Cup.
5.) Iran becomes the second- biggest oil supplier to Indian state refiners replacing Saudi Arabia.
6.) NASA scientists have detected a salt-laden lake under the ice on the southern polar plain of Mars. It is the first stable body of liquid water found on Mars and is about 20km wide.
7.) The West Bengal Assembly passed a resolution to rename the State as 'Bangla' in three languages- Bengali, English and Hindi.
8.) Two Indians Bharat Vatwani and Sonam Wangchuk win this year's Ramon Magsay Award.
9.) Cricketer turned politician Imran Khan's party Tehreek- e- Insaaf or PTI has emerged as the single largest party in Pakistan's General Election.
10.) Mahesh Kumar Malani of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has become the first Hindu candidate to win a National Assembly seat in Pakistan.
11.) World Hepatitis Day was celebrated on 28th July.
12.) The 10th BRICS Summit started from 25th July 2018 in Johannesburg.
13.) The Reserve Bank of India will issue new Rs.100 banknotes from August.
14.)  MS Dhoni becomes the fourth Indian to score 10000 runs in international ODI.
15.) India has become the world's sixth- biggest economy.
16.) National Doctor's Day is celebrated on 1st July in the memory of Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy.
17.) India's Hima Das created history by winning the gold medal in women's 400-metre event at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland.
18.) Virat Kohli became the fastest to 3000 one day international runs as captain, taking just 49 innings to get to the mark.
19.) Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg becomes the third richest man in the World.
20.) Festival of Chariots ( Jagannath Rath Yatra) was celebrated on 14th July in Orissa.
21.) The Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 26th July every year in India.
22.) Andhra Pradesh recently launched the 'Anna Canteens' across the state which offers food ₹ 5 per plate to the poor.
23.) Madhya Pradesh had decided to celebrate Independence Day of India as 'Shaheed Samman Diwas' to honour martyrs.
24.) International Tiger Day is Celebrated on 29 July every year.
